Now back to the detrimental health risks of obesity. We now know, based on reliable data and clinical trials, that obesity and inactivity cause:
⢠Premature death
⢠Type 2 Diabetes (affecting over 20 million people)
⢠High cholesterol (over 50 million Americans have it)
⢠Heart Disease
⢠High Blood Pressure (Over 63 million people have it)
⢠Stroke
⢠Blood clots in heart, brain, legs and lungs
⢠Gall bladder disease
⢠Varicose veins and swollen legs
⢠Breathing disturbances while asleep
⢠Asthma
⢠Breathing problems (difficulty breathing while performing minimal exertion or walking)
⢠Fat accumulation inside the tissues of vital organs such as the liver, heart and major arteries, reducing their capacity to function normally
⢠Cancer (colons, kidneys, endometrial, uterus, breast, prostate and gallbladder)
⢠Reproductive disorders (women have trouble having children and men have reduced sperm count)
⢠Menstrual irregularities
⢠Presence of excess body and facial hair
⢠Urine leakage caused by weak pelvic muscle
⢠Complications during surgeries
⢠Psychological disorders like depression and anxiety
⢠Stigmatization and discrimination
⢠Reduced immunity and the capacity to fight off infections
⢠Catching colds and infections more frequently and taking longer times off work for recovery
⢠Higher incidences of acid reflux disease and indigestion
If someone is a smoker as well, then the list of fatal risks of smoking is even longer. Similar to obesity, smoking not only has detrimental and damaging effects to the heart, major arteries, blood pressure, blood cholesterol and reproductive organs, but also causes deadly lung diseases and various kinds of cancer including lung cancer. The list goes on and on. It is no secret and no surprise that if someone is overweight, inactive and/or a smoker, and if they continue on this path, their risk of having many of the threats listed above is compounded several-fold. Quit smoking today with the e-book titled âLifestyle Makeover for All Tobacco Usersâ in 3 simple Action Steps from the same website.
Unfortunately, the thought that âlife-threatening problems happen to others and not meâ is rampant, but the crystal clear statistics tell the different but real story. The risks are so very many that in reality, it is highly likely that you will be inflicted with one or many of these deadly ailments IF you continue on the same path of disregard.
YOU ARE LEFT WITH ONLY ONE CHOICE, AND THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE HAS TO BE GREENER. YOU STILL CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR HEALTH, AND IT IS MUCH SIMPLER THAN YOU THINK.

It is by correlating all the facts, getting statistics from live patients/customers and autopsy results, after patients pass on. Some facts are easier to add up especially with conditions like diabetes, or hypertension. An analysis of hospital patients statistics usually show a higher number of patients are obese, and there are known associations like diseases and syndromes (or collections of facts). Following obese patients who have managed to gain control of their weight usually reveal improved risks as well. Some famous studies such as the Framingham study followed thousands over a 20 year time. Such studies are very effective to study risks. Other smaller studies are also revealing. Studies are ongoing, and observations change over time as well. Like obese people often have an abnormal handling of sugars, so which comes first - diabetes or abnormal sugar processing?
