Prop that leg up, Your supposed to keep it higher then your heart! Then the next is the warm soak, get a warm towel & a trash bag, wrap the towel around the clot aera then place the trash bag around that, Then place a heating pad on it! And you keep that on 24/7 and stay off the leg as much a possable, And then of course take the blood thinners her doctor gave her, And yes she will get better! & please don't freak yes I've had 32 clots But I have a blood disorder that causes them, So your mom could have this one clot and never have one again,,, Give her my best & take extra good care of her!<br><b>References : </b><br> Very odd they didn’t put her in the hospital
