Can internal foreign object pressing against a vein create a deep vein thrombosis?

Is there medical evidence showing the presence of a small foreign object pressing against vein in the calf could cause a blood clot in the deep vein the calf.

I don't know about causing DVT, but why would there be a small foreign object in your calf? If you have any doubts, please see a Dr.

If the foreign body is in the vein it may cause inflammation and lead to clotting. If the object is outside the vessel and is causing significant compression and inflammation a clot may form however I have never heard of such a scenario. If you are concerned you should see a doctor. BTW what is the object? Can it be removed?
