How long after tooth extraction do blood clots typically fall out?

I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted 5 days ago and tonight I noticed that the little white blood clots that had formed on the extraction sites began falling out. I wasn’t eating anything when they began to fall out - is this normal? Between what range of time do they typically start to dislodge?
I am experiencing no pain and no bleeding.
I can’t tell if the sockets themselves are completely bare because my cheeks are a little swollen so I can’t see inside.

That’s just fine. Mine did between 1 - 2 weeks. Don’t pick at it though! Let it fall out on it’s own. When you go back for you check up check with him but it should be just fine, but dont mess with it.

Hmmm….so now is your tooth’s socket empty? can you see the bone in the socket? Because blood clots are not supposed to dislodge.
Typically, when it does happen, loss of blood clots occur after about 24 hours. But I’m talking about complete loss of the clot so that your socket walls are bare. This is referred to as alveolar osteitis or dry socket. But this is an extremely painful condition.
However, if its you’re concerned about you blood tinted saliva, it is normal. Don’t worry, the socket takes about a week to heal. If you have pain, go to your dentist immediately.
