Any wide variety of vegetables (raw is best, then cooked) is healthy for all aspects of the body.
References :
Common Sense

Medicinal properties of Garlic, Parts I, II, & III?
Part I
Could anyone tell me about the medicinal properties of garlic ... and could you please tell me your source of information?

Part II
I have heard that raw garlic is a good blood thinner. Is this
so? Is it as reliable as an allopathic medicine? Also, please
cite your source of information.

Part III
What would be the differences be between raw and cooked / roasted garlic.

It is very interesting to me -- all of this -- partly from a medical
standpoint, but also culinary .... I have heard that the usage of olive oil and garlic in the Italian cuisine is particularly healthy ... maybe we could throw in a few fresh herbs ... anything else
perhaps?
